The 1969 Trans Am Boss 302 mustang production ran from April 19, 1969 to July 18, 1969 producing only 1,628 vehicles. Only 4 colors were offered, yellow being the most dominant ... 649 to be exact. Coral, white and blue were the other colors. Comparing the 1969 Boss 302 to the 1965 GT 350 they just made 562 GT 350s. In 1966 they produced well over 2 thousand Shelbys. In 1970 Ford produced over seven thousand Boss 302s. Very couple of choices were offered for in charge 302 Mustang. This car was featured in the new Donald Farrs Boss 302 book. In the photo, you will see all 4 colors of in charge 302s. This yellow 1969 Boss 302 was brought back entirely. It is very solid. Its had brand-new quarters put on by the previous owner. The fit & & finish is extremely good. The interior is extremely original "standard black 2A." The engine is an original C8FE Block with the initial crank, rods & & cam. The heads have been entirely gone through & & they are C9ZE heads. Its been balanced with the original C9ZE flywheel. It does not have the initial representative nor does it have smog pump. Carburetor is the original 780 holley "J code." Transmission is not the initial that included the vehicle, it is not VIN stamped, but it is an initial leading loader. It has an efficiency clutch and pressure plate so the pedal is a stiffer than typical. Rear equipment is all fresh traction loc 31 spline 3.50. It has F60 Goodyear Polyglas tires with argent silver Magnum 500 wheels. It has the original spindles, front & & rear springs, which are unique to the 69 Boss 302s. The vehicle has exactly 136,910 miles on the odometer, but only 140 miles given that restoration. It runs exceptionally smooth, but just gets trailered to shows. The connected invoice & & deluxe report shows what alternatives are initial on this vehicle, such as P/S, rear slats, & & rear spoiler. The antenna on the rear quarter, there is a document on the car dating back to the 80s specifying that the antenna was on the original quarter panel. When the vehicles were shipped from Ford to the dealership the antenna and rear front spoiler were delivered in the vehicle and installed at the dealer and might be set up on any panel at owners request. When it comes to the 69 Shelby roll bar the previous owner installed it. When the automobile was recovered I chose to leave it in the automobile might not be original however it looks great. The final paint task, code 9 is painted with acrylic enamel without any clear coat to give it an original look. (Diztler Delstar) Recently since October 2014 a yellow 1969 Boss 302 sold at Barrett Jackson for 88 K.It had radial tires, the springs had actually been changed. It had a 70 Hurst shifter deal with, a Cougar console arm rest pad, no tach. These are just a few of the products that were not fix on this car that sold.
